Our standard shipping charges are intended to compensate House to Home for processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase, delivering them to you, and covering related overhead. Most in-stock items are shipped from our shop within two business days and will arrive within seven to ten business days. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by email. Items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same box.
Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories are delivered by UPS or USPS at our regular shipping fees, with an additional charge of $10. Items shipped to Canada are delivered by UPS or USPS at our regular shipping fees, with an additional charge of $30 for customs. Unfortunately, Canadian orders cannot be expedited or shipped to a PO Box.
Please refer to the chart below to calculate shipping costs. The chart lists shipping charges for orders consisting of non-furniture. Charges are calculated per shipping address. Some items require an additional shipping charge due to the excess weight or special packaging requirements. If there is an additional shipping charge for an item it will be noted on the product page. Please add this amount to the standard shipping cost listed below.

Overnight Delivery/Saturday Delivery

We cannot expedite deliveries outside of the continental United States.
DropShip Items
Several items are shipped directly from our manufacturers. Overnight delivery may not be available for these items. Please contact us at the shop by phone or email if you have any questions about delivery times.
Backorders
Some of our items are VERY popular and are occasionally on backorder. We will contact you via email if this is the case. You will be given an approximate date of shipment. Trust us, it is worth the wait.
PO Boxes
Orders sent to Post Office boxes can only be sent via USPS priority mail. Expedited orders cannot be sent to PO Boxes.
Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on several of our furniture lines. If you order an item that has free shipping in addition to one or more regular items, you will be charged only for the shipping costs that apply.
Delivery Surcharge
Some of our items require additional charges to ensure they arrive at your home in safe and sound condition. Custom pieces may need to be securely carted and packaged, and items with glass may require special handling fees. If any delivery surcharge is necessary it is noted on the product page below the product price.
Standard Shipping for Freight Items
Large items and furniture often ship by freight carrier. Delivery may take 6-8 weeks and 10-13 weeks for custom pieces. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Freight companies will contact you a few days prior to the delivery to confirm when they will arrive. Be sure that you are home and available to receive your merchandise when it arrives. Please do not arrange for the items to be dropped off when no one is home. It is important to carefully inspect all merchandise for any damages or defects and contact us immediately if this is the case. Although our suppliers take great care in packaging their goods for shipping, damages sometimes occur in transit. Please make note of any damages to your furniture or to the packaging materials and contact us immediately. You have the right to refuse delivery of damaged merchandise, but House to Home will be unable to assist you in replacement of damaged goods or reimbursement if the above procedures are not followed. If you need to reschedule the delivery with the freight carrier please contact them as soon as possible so as to not incur any charges for missed delivery appointments. Freight items can only be shipped within the contiguous United States.
Premium In-Home Delivery for Freight Items
Premium In-home delivery is available for all of our large furniture items. Our Premium in-home delivery service will place an item inside the threshold of your home or in a particular room with all packing materials discarded. Upon delivery, our shippers will unpack, place these furnishings in the room of your choice and discard the packing materials for you (assembly service is not provided). Delivery service does not include disassembling, moving or removing old furniture.
Freight ShippingNotes and Delivery Times
You can find a reasonable estimate of the delivery time specified on the shopping cart page. It is important to note that these are estimated shipping dates only and cannot be guaranteed by House to Home. Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control that may lead to additional production time, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backup in production. If this is the case you will be alerted as soon as we are made aware that any problem exists. It is important to note once a piece leaves our manufacturers facility, the remaining shipping time is beyond our control. House to Home functions as a liaison to get your merchandise transported safely to you, and although this process most often proceeds smoothly, delays and damages may be caused by the freight company. House to Home will do our absolute best to assist in getting your merchandise to you in a timely manner and in good condition. We will notify you immediately if we are made aware of any expected delays or problems. It is essential that you inspect all freight shipped items very carefully and do not sign for you piece if you suspect any damage.
Special Note About Freight Delivery and Damages
In a perfect world, damage never occurs during transit. Our freight carriers handle your furniture with great care but it is important to understand from time to time damages do occur. Please make note of any damage to your furniture or to the packaging materials and contact us immediately. You have the right to refuse delivery of damaged merchandise, but House to Home will be unable to assist you in repair or replacement of damaged goods if the above procedures are not followed. If your piece arrives damaged, House to Home will have the piece restored and brought back to the manufacturer’s standards. If House to Home determines the piece cannot be restored/repaired, you have the right to have another piece at no additional charge and shipped out to you as soon as possible.
